April 6-7 marked two important days in the history of the Shrine of Our Lady of Health. Thousands of pilgrims took part in the two-day renewal retreat “Revival 2.0” organized by the Shrine.
The pilgrims started arriving as early as on Friday afternoon. The campus was full with children, couples, youth, elderly and the sick from Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. The retreat began on the 6th of April at 4 PM and concluded on the 7th of April at 1PM. The retreat was animated by Prabhuvani Ministries. Bros Anand and Nathaniel led the people into reflections through their insightful talks. Mr Deepak and Ms Seema, belonging to our own parish led the people into prayer with their melodious singing. People prayerfully participated in the First Saturday Liturgical activities such as Novena, Holy Eucharist, Healing Prayers, Candle light Procession and Silent Adoration. Pilgrims were prepared well to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The pilgrims felt at home and were very happy with the hospitality at the Shrine. Dr Anthony Peter, the Rector of the Shrine, went out of his way to meticulously plan and execute the renewal retreat. All thanks to the parishioners and the religious nuns who worked hard to make this renewal retreat a success.
